Who We Are

The Urban-Air Art Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization and welcomes your tax-deductible donations. We strive to empower and inspire artists, allowing them to retreat from their concrete surroundings and create art in a natural and historical environment.

We seek artists of expression like painters, dancers, writers, and musicians who want to draw inspiration from their natural surroundings.

Our Philosophy

Art is a cornerstone of everyday life that can entertain, challenge, and influence society for the greater good. Urban-Air believes all individuals possess a unique footprint and perspective that shapes their worldview, which they weave into their artwork. Those who walk the artist’s path are extraordinary people who work in service of the creative process.

The Directors

JEFFREY  MILLER, founding director

KRYSTA CIAMPAGLIA, founding director

SHERYL MILLER, founding director

“To live by knowing what you truly want is what makes you the happiest.”

Krysta Ciampaglia is a CEO and a Real Estate Broker in New York City and New Jersey. Traveling the world and starting her young life as an artist, actress, dancer, and creator has given her an edge in her current business life. Experiencing new cultures, people, and cuisines worldwide is her biggest passion. Meeting, helping, and inspiring people drives Krysta as a business person and artist.

Culminating all her passions into Urban-Air, she hopes to create an endowment to expand the artist retreat with ten tiny homes for a growing artist community.

“To dream and to turn them into reality is the art of life.”

Jeffrey Miller is an artist, an author, a podiatric foot and ankle surgeon, and a restaurateur inspired by life, travel, and artist’s creativity.

Jeffrey also practices Chen-style Taiji and Transcendental Meditation.

"In all its forms, creative expression sets humanity apart from other species. It is our birthright and essential for our health and well-being, individually and collectively."

Sheryl Miller is an artist, curator, and art dealer. Her art background includes painting, printmaking, and photography, with studies in flamenco and opera. She is also a nationally certified Energy Practitioner. She has lived in cities with amazing art and culture, like San Francisco, Denver, Albuquerque, Barcelona, and Rome.

Sheryl believes that Urban-Air can bring more joy, depth, and purpose to the region and beyond. She will be offering creative workshops and programs to the community.
